Arts and Crafts activities provide fun and are an interactive way for children to develop their important life skills like Motor skills; Creativity and Imagination; Self-Expression; Hand-Eye Coordination; Social Skills; Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving capabilities. It’s important to remember that every child’s learning style and speed of development is unique. Our goal at Holy Faith is to provide and choose activities that are appropriate for the children in their life. The children are kept engaged in sensory and intellectual activities to assist children develop interest in acquiring knowledge in various fields, gain new sensory information and create positive connections to materials around them.

Music and dance engages and stimulates various parts of the brain and body, unleashes calmness and happiness, creates recreation and rejenuvation. It also aids sound recognition, body movements, pattern learning, creativity and imagination. Holy Faith gives students enormous opportunities to foster and refine their listening skills, motor skills, memory, focus and determination in performing the assigned tasks. Students evolve in their perception of co-ordination, synchronization, rhythms, beats, postures, melodies and perform graciously with eye catching self-expressions.

Music and Dance are excellent tools to train the mind and body to co-ordinate together to celebrate life with colour and bliss !!!!

Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW) is purposeful work and services related to the needs of the child and their community which equips students with practical skills that are useful in their daily lives and future careers. We at Holy Faith provide students an exposure to  choose from a number of vocational training activities like Knitting, Gardening, Cooking, Painting, Paper making, Paper Quilling, Community service, etc enabling them to understand the scientific principles, techniques, etiquettes and processes involved in doing these activities.

Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) helps to inculcate values, learn, participate, grow, build interests and talents, develop team work and cultivate skills holistically. The teachers at Holy Faith conduct CCA and SUPW to offer a chance to switch off from the regular activities and see to it that children enjoy something they would love to do instead of just being limited to textbooks. They ensure that these activities help them refine their social skills, organizational skills, communication, collaboration, empathy, dignity, confidence and self-esteem.

Cultivation of hobbies and skills is the most rewarding bounty in one’s life journey!!!

Outdoor games are very essential for the healthy development of children and beyond. This gives children a break from daily study routines and provides mental or physical stimulation, and often both. We at Holy Faith allow them to experiment through trial and error, find solutions to problems and work out the best strategies to build new confidence and skills. We involve them in group plays to encourage them to develop social interaction, co-operation, team work, sharing, turn-taking, conflict resolution and social communication. Children become aware of limits, boundaries and challenges they face during their play, help them improve their interpersonal discipline and expand their thinking and imagination.

Schools have libraries to enable students and teachers to better equip themselves with the habit of reading for pleasure and to also help build knowledge in diverse fields to resolve problems faced with courage and confidence.

Libraries play a vital role in providing access to a variety of books and in inculcating a reading culture for an upward progression in a students’ life. They reduce  ignorance and promote literacy, knowledge communication and skill acquisition, thereby encouraging lifelong learning.

Develop the habit of exploring libraries, books and reading as it is the cornerstone of many gratifying rewards in life !!!!

Public speaking classes are conducted to expose students to real world. It enables students to boost their self-confidence with fun activities, face the audience without fear or nervousness, master the art of communication, discover the power of body language, add style to deliver the content and organise their thoughts for speeches. Public speaking helps pave way to think on the spot and speak on the topic given while it also develops leadership skills in students.

The art of weaving stories through imagination is developed to give them a chance to tap on their talent, discover and explore new worlds by story telling and story writing activities. It fascinates and keeps students engaged. It helps increase their attention span, focus and have the best reading experience in an interactive environment. Conversation being the chief ingredient for communication is enriched by these reading activities to deal with situations students may face with more confidence and self-esteem.

Science and its effects in everyday life are immense. It has provided a better world for mankind with the evolution of all the inventions and discoveries in the field of science. At schools science exhibitions are conducted as they are a source of knowledge and joy. It is a platform provided for children to present their creativity, imagination, innovation and scientific temper based on different themes. The students, who participate in these exhibitions, prepare their work based on the selected themes of interest and get an opportunity to give their best.
